It’s not a suggestion, not a fleeting thought, but a divine command from the One who holds the stars in place. Be still, and know that I am God.
Imagine a weary traveler, feet caked with dust, pausing by a quiet stream. The road has been long, the burden heavy, but the water’s edge calls you to sit, to breathe, to let the current carry your striving away. This is what God asks of you today. Not to run faster, not to shout louder, but to be still. To cease your frantic grasping and simply know Him. Prayer for June 11, 2025
Father, in the rush of my days, I hear Your gentle call to be still. Quiet my heart, Lord, and draw me into Your presence. Help me rest in the truth that You are God—sovereign, faithful, and near. Let Your peace anchor me, and may my stillness proclaim Your glory. Teach me to know You more deeply today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
