Devotional Thought For Today
There are days when you feel it — the passion, the clarity, the fire to do God’s will. And then there are days when your faith feels slow. Foggy. Flat.
But hear this today: Just because you don’t feel Him working doesn’t mean He’s not.
Philippians 2:13 is the quiet assurance that God never clocks out on your story. Even when you’re unsure, even when you want to give up, even when you don’t feel “spiritual” — He’s still moving inside you.
It’s God who gives you the desire to do what’s right — and then gives you the power to walk it out. It’s not willpower. It’s not performance. It’s divine partnership.
Maybe you’re in a season where obedience feels hard. You want to forgive, but the pain is still raw. You want to trust, but the doors haven’t opened. You want to keep going, but your strength is wearing thin.
Friend, don’t give up. The God who began the work in you is still at work in you. Even when it feels slow. Even when you don’t see fruit yet. Even when all you can pray is, “God, help me want what You want.”
He hears that prayer. And He honors it.
Because this journey of faith? It’s not about being perfect — it’s about being willing. And He will take that willingness and turn it into something beautiful.
Prayer for June 18, 2025
Father, Thank You for working in me — even when I can’t see it. I surrender my desires, my weaknesses, and my fears. Shape my heart to want what You want. Strengthen my steps to follow Your will. Help me trust that You are still writing my story for Your good purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
