“Jesus said to him, ‘Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.'”
Devotion for April 23, 2025
My dear friends, it is written in God’s Word that when Lord Jesus Christ approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When the blind man heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by, he began to cry out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then Jesus Christ asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus Christ said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he regained his sight and followed Him, glorifying God.
According to the Bible, God has created a door for everything because in the Bible you don’t see that Jesus Christ is passing by and the blind man is just sitting there, not calling out to Him, yet Jesus Christ healed him. Rather, you see that when that blind beggar heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by, he began to cry out loudly, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Now, you might think that if he hadn’t called out and entered into that door of healing, would God have healed him? No! But the blind man asked and received healing.
If you need clothes, you don’t get them just by entering a shopping center; rather, you have to find the clothing store within the center, then you go and select and purchase the clothes. Or if you want gold or silver, you won’t find it in a clothing store; you have to go to a gold-silver shop.
Similarly, you too must enter that door which is necessary for your life.
Whether it’s the door of healing or the door of financial blessing. If you want healing, you should pray to God using His Word and ask for your healing, or if you want financial blessing, you’ll need to sow for God’s kingdom, and when you enter that door which is necessary for your life, God will heal you, set you free, and bless you financially. Amen.
Prayer for April 23, 2025
Almighty God, I thank You for this promise. I pray that You give me the spiritual strength and power to enter into the necessary door of my life so that I may enter that door and receive healing and blessing. In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
