“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”
Devotional Thought For Today
Sometimes it feels like the world is spinning too fast for your soul to catch up. Your prayers seem to vanish into thin air. You wonder if you’re doing faith wrong—if maybe, just maybe, you’ve missed the outpouring.
But Joel 2:28 wasn’t spoken to a generation who had it all together. It was a promise given to a people limping back from locust plagues, wreckage, and regret. And yet, afterward, God says, “I will pour out my Spirit.” Not sprinkle. Not ration. Pour.
This is not a call for the elite few or spiritually seasoned. This is for you. For your dry places. For your tired soul. For your future that feels foggy and your present that feels hollow.
The Spirit doesn’t discriminate by age, background, or burnout. Daughters prophesying. Sons seeing visions. The old dreaming again. The young catching glimpses of God’s future. This is revival—and it’s personal.
You are not forgotten. You are not too late.
The Spirit of God is still being poured out—today, June 8—and your name is on the invitation.

Prayer for June 8, 2025
Holy Spirit, I come today with open hands and a thirsty heart. Thank You for the promise of Your presence—for visions that awaken hope, for dreams that revive the weary, and for Your voice that still speaks. Breathe fresh wind into my spirit today. Let my life be a vessel You can fill and pour out again. I trust You to move in ways I can’t see and lead me where only You can. In Jesus’ name, amen.
