Today Devotion

On that first Easter morning, the words of the angel echoed with divine triumph: “He is not here; he has risen!” These words are more than a declaration of Christ’s resurrection—they are a call to faith, hope, and victory. The empty tomb stands as the ultimate symbol of God’s power over sin and death. It reminds us that no matter how dark the night may seem, dawn always comes with God’s promises fulfilled.

Imagine standing at the tomb that day. The despair of Friday had given way to the astonishment of Sunday. Jesus had conquered death—not for His sake alone but for ours. His resurrection is a guarantee that we, too, can rise above our struggles and live in the freedom of His grace. Just as He promised, He overcame. And His victory is our inheritance.

In life, we often face moments that feel like “Good Friday”—times of loss, confusion, or pain. But Easter reminds us that God’s plan doesn’t end in the grave. The resurrection assures us that God’s timing is perfect and His promises are unshakable. When we trust Him, He turns mourning into joy and despair into hope.

Today, let the empty tomb fill your heart with courage. Whatever you face, remember that Jesus has already won the victory. Walk in faith knowing that His resurrection power lives in you. Celebrate this truth not just on Easter but every day—because He is risen indeed!
