Verse of the day june 14, 2025 — Isaiah 40:31
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Devotional Thought For Today
There are times in life when you feel like you just can’t go on. The burden is too heavy. The mountain too steep. The heart too weary. But Isaiah 40:31 offers a promise—not a maybe, not a suggestion—but a certainty for those who place their hope in the Lord.
You see, the strength you need doesn’t come from inside you. It comes from above you.
The eagle doesn’t flap its wings in a panic—it rises on the wind. And you, dear friend, can rise too. But not by striving. By hoping. By waiting on the Lord. The Hebrew word for “hope” here also means to wait with expectation—not passively, but trustingly.
So many today are searching for strength in all the wrong places—careers, relationships, even religion. But only Christ gives strength that renews, uplifts, and carries you farther than your feet ever could.
There will be days when you walk and days when you soar—but in all of them, God is faithful. His power does not run out. His love does not wear thin. His promises never fail.
So lean in. Hope in Him. And watch what He does.
Prayer for June 14, 2025
Lord Jesus, I am tired. At times I feel worn out, discouraged, and empty. But today I turn my eyes toward You. Renew my strength, not from within me—but from Your Spirit. Teach me to wait on You with trust, not fear. Help me rise above the noise, the pain, and the pressure. Help me soar—not because I’m strong, but because You are. In Your name I pray, Amen.
