Blessing Prayer for Today
Dear Lord,
Thank you for waking me up to this day, to this moment, to your living Word. Lord honestly, some days, I look at it and see how far I fall from love, joy, or patience. But today, I’m not here to strive harder in my own strength. I’m here to surrender.
Holy Spirit, would you grow your fruit in me? I don’t want to manufacture a smile or fake peace—I want your real, lasting transformation. Root out the bitterness that chokes love. Replace the rush in me with patience. Where joy has faded under the weight of worry, restore it with your presence.
Lord, help me live from the Spirit, not just for you but with you. In conversations today, let kindness win. In stress, give me peace. In every small act of goodness, be glorified. Remind me that these fruits aren’t goals to check off—they’re signs that I’m abiding in you.
I confess I’ve let my mood and circumstances dictate my responses too often. But today, I invite your Spirit to take the lead. Shape my reactions. Tame my tongue. Quiet my anxious heart. Make my life a garden that reflects your love.
May those around me taste the sweetness of your Spirit through me—without even knowing it came from you. And when I fall short, remind me there’s grace, and that you’re still cultivating something holy in me.
