Bible Verse of the Day June 2, 2025 Morning Prayers with Scriptures

Today’s Bible verse – Psalm 119:105 (NKJV)

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Devotional Thought For Today

You don’t always get a map. Sometimes, all you get is light for the next step.

Late at night, when fear whispers lies and the road ahead feels lost in shadow, you reach for something—anything—to tell you you’re not alone. And there it is. A verse. A whisper from God. A lamp, not for miles, but for your next few feet.

That’s how God works. He doesn’t always show you the full path. But He gives you enough—His Word—to move forward without falling. Maybe you’re in a season of grief, or standing at a crossroads in your marriage, your health, your faith. You’ve prayed, but heaven seems quiet. Listen. Open His Word. His voice is still there, waiting on the page, alive with direction, correction, and comfort.

God’s Word doesn’t just inform you—it transforms you. It doesn’t just point the way—it becomes the way. When everything else is uncertain, the Word is stable. When your emotions betray you, the Word holds true. When darkness closes in, the Word cuts through it.

You may not see the whole picture right now. But if you hold tight to the lamp of God’s Word, you’ll never walk blind. The next step will come, then the next. And with each one, He walks beside you.

Let His Word light your way—step by faithful step.

Prayer for June 2, 2025

Father, when the path ahead feels unclear, help me trust that Your Word is enough for today. Be the light in my dark moments, the clarity in my confusion, and the voice I follow. I don’t need to see the whole journey—just give me the courage to take the next step with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
