Devotion for May 24, 2025

There will come a moment—outside of time, beyond the ache of earth—when Jesus Himself will call your name. Not with rebuke. Not with disappointment. But with joy. With welcome. With reward.

“Come.”

It’s one word, but in the mouth of the King, it’s everything you’ve waited to hear.

Maybe today you feel unnoticed. Like your obedience has gone unseen, your service undervalued, your love underappreciated. But Scripture tells a different story. Before time ever ticked, God had already carved out a kingdom with you in mind. He didn’t draft your future as an afterthought—He prepared it with intention, love, and glory. And not just any glory: His.

This verse isn’t just a sweet ending to a hard life. It’s a reminder that your current sacrifices carry eternal significance. The quiet ways you’ve loved others? Seen. The times you forgave when you could’ve walked away? Counted. The burdens you bore when no one clapped? They moved heaven.

The world may reward pride, power, and platform—but the King sees a different wealth: faithfulness. And one day, that faithfulness will echo in a throne room where tears are no more and joy is unshaken.

So when the road feels long and your hands feel empty, remember this: you are already chosen. Already blessed. Already written into the will of a King who cannot lie.

You’re not earning a spot—you’re walking toward an inheritance.

Prayer for May 24, 2025

Father, thank You for preparing a kingdom that no eye has seen and no heart could imagine. On days when I feel unseen, remind me that heaven keeps perfect records. Give me the strength to keep loving, keep serving, and keep trusting that everything done for You is not in vain. I rest today in the promise of Your welcome: “Come.” In Jesus’ name, Amen.
