The Lord has already shown you what is good—and it’s not hidden in mystery or locked behind religious ritual. It’s written in the marrow of His Word, and whispered to your soul: Act justly. Love mercy. Walk humbly with your God.
You were never meant to walk ahead of God, blazing your own trail. Nor were you made to lag behind, bound by fear or shame. No, child of God—you were created to walk with Him. To rise with purpose, to live with compassion, to breathe the air of humility that keeps your soul soft in a hardened world.
Justice is not a political slogan—it’s the heartbeat of God. Mercy is not weakness—it’s the echo of the cross. And humility? It is the posture that lets you see God rightly… and see yourself rightly, too.
So today, as you open your hands to this new morning, let Micah 6:8 be more than a verse—it is your marching order. You do not need a thousand answers. You only need this: a surrendered heart, a listening spirit, and feet ready to follow wherever He leads.
God does not require perfection from you—only a willingness to walk with Him.
Today’s Prayer June 22, 2025
Father, today I quiet my soul before You. Teach me to do what is just, to love mercy, and to walk humbly beside You. Strip away my pride, my haste, and my need to control. Make my heart soft again. Let me reflect Your justice in how I treat others, extend Your mercy even when it costs me, and walk low so You may be lifted high. I don’t want to run ahead or fall behind—I want to walk with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
